Clean Your Brass!

Here is a quick and easy way to clean your brass up. While browsing through Pinterest I came across this method and decided to try it!  In less than 5 mins you can go from rainbow brass to the brass you actually want to see (Pictured above). Best part is, it's something you
 probably already have in your fridge!

What you need:

* Worcestershire sauce

* Washcloths

 When polishing your item with Worcestershire sauce be sure not to put it directly on your item! I did and you will see later why it shouldn't be left on your item for long periods of time. So, begin by wetting your cloth with the sauce. Then just simply rub the tarnish away in small circles!

After that took a wet cloth to wipe off any WS that got left on. Then dried it with a dry cloth. It is such a big difference! I cannot believe it was that easy!

Here is the full board polished with WS! However, just like most things, it has its disadvantages.

Along with the board, the game pieces needed some TLC. So, since everything seemed to be going so well......

I decided to let the game pieces soak in the WS. After about 30 seconds I took out the first piece.

As you can see there is a pretty obvious difference between what soaked for a few seconds (Right) and what had not (Left).

Even though those results were great! The rose color, that came with the ones that sat in there too long, was not! It was most predominate on the sides, but you can see some discoloration on the top too. Luckily, I took it out in enough time and it didn't get any worse!
